Paul Gioia

President & CEO

Paul joined Magnatech in 2002 and has been responsible for the design and development of the products, services, and systems Magnatech currently offers. In 2016, he took on the role of President and CEO and continues to be an inspirational, confident and committed leader to the rest of the Magnatech team. Paul is also responsible for formulating training and incentive plans, maintaining efficient team structure and performance as well as managing and maximizing relationships with current and new clients. He instills a culture of loyalty, innovation and client satisfaction that differentiates Magnatech from the competition.

Apart from dedicating his spare time to his family, he also enjoys golf, martial arts and physical fitness.






Maria Nudo

Vice President, Administration

Maria oversees all aspects of the internal administration of the organization in her role as VP, Administration, including finance and accounting, contract management, human resource management and general administrative matters. Maria is dedicated to working towards a successful and fulfilling future with Magnatech.

Prior to joining Magnatech, Maria was employed for over 23 years by Canderel Management Inc. solely managing their corporate services requirements as their in-house corporate paralegal.






Scott Millar

Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships

Scott joined the Magnatech team in February 2005 as a direct B2B sales representative for desktop applications used by the TMCs as their itinerary/invoice delivery system. In 2007, he was promoted to Product Manager and his responsibilities increased to include all sales and marketing activities in the promotion of the web-based line of products (OnQueue, OnTrack, Compliance Control), event management planning and coordinating attendance at select travel agency affiliate events held throughout the year. He is also responsible for account management which involves managing client expectations and concerns in relation to a given product.

In his spare time, when not traveling with his wife, you can almost certainly, during hockey season, find him watching his beloved Montreal Canadiens.




Luciano Paparella

Director of Product Development

Luciano has been part of the Magnatech team since 2009 and is primarily responsible for the product development for our Compliance Control solution. He is at the helm of building comprehensive solutions to manage mid-office compliance policies and auto-ticketing tools in order to achieve a completely touchless system for travel consultants.

Luciano has over 20 years experience and has managed and led various project implementations, providing seamless integration of supply chain management systems.

Besides developing automated solutions for the travel management industry, Luciano’s other passions involve martial arts. He has been practicing and teaching martial arts as a way of life for over 34 years. The values and characteristics acquired from his second passion blends in his everyday life, including his work at Magnatech. Focus, persistence, and devoted determination to find solutions and continuously take care of our existing customers is his mission.






Delia Oviedo

Director of Mobile Technology Development

Having joined Magnatech in 2011, Delia is the most recent addition to the management team. She previously held positions ranging from travel coordinator to global banking assistant manager for Flight Center Ltd in her home country of Australia. Her extensive knowledge of the travel industry processes and requirements makes her a natural fit for the Company’s Duty of Care system (SafeToGo). She is responsible for coordinating the tasks and requirements throughout the stages of the product development process, ensuring the product meets users’ needs.

When Delia is not challenging herself with obstacle courses and races or reminiscing about the warm Australian summers, she loves to read, especially while travelling and exploring new places.




Michel Ferrao

Manager, Service Implementations & Client Support

Michel joined Magnatech in 2013 after working 10 years at Amex Canada on the Canadian Government account’s online travel/expense tech support team. Additionally since 1991, he worked namely at Intair Transit, Rider Travel Group (now HRG Canada), Rosenbluth and Vision Travel Group. His current responsibilities include managing our helpdesk and product ownership of our Ontrack Services (Unused Ticket Tracking/Management). The experience he’s accumulated throughout the years working with TMCs, has helped Magnatech clients smoothly integrate our technology to the services they provide their clients.

Outside the office, you might bump into him on a hiking or cross country ski trail.
